The Fires in the Open Air Bylaw defines what are open, restricted and prohibited fire seasons and the requirement for a permit for outdoor fires during an open or restricted fire season.
The bylaw was reviewed in 2015 and amended after consultation with the public by Council in December 2016. The bylaw should be read in conjunction with our Rural Fire Plan.
