Council's Alcohol Fees Bylaw sets out the majority of fees that Council charges for alcohol licensing activities.

Summary

Since November 2013 Council has had the ability to set the fees charged for the alcohol licensing related functions it performs under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 through a bylaw. Prior to that time, the fees Council could charged were fixed by central government legislation.

Council has made a bylaw that sets the relevant fees for Council's alcohol licensing activities.  The bylaw came into force on 1 April 2016.
