Temporary road closure - Rally Events

This page contains information about proposed road closures for the rally organised by Northland Car Club.

Notice is given that for the purpose of Rally Events, organised by Northland Car Club Inc, Whangarei District Council will close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic and pedestrians temporarily on the dates indicated:

Roads which will be affected

19 February 2012: Mangapai Caves Road, Mangapai, from the intersection of Mangapai Caves Road and McDonnell Road to the intersection of Mangapai Caves Road and Rountree Road.
4 March 2012: Ruarangi Road, Mangapai.
1 April 2012: Sime Road and Kepa Road, Ruakaka, from a point 150 metres from Marsden Point Road to the Mighty River Power Company including all of Kepa Road.
22 April 2012: Hartnell Road, Waiotira.
13 May 2012: Paiawa Road, Waiotira.
22 May 2012: Ormandy Road, Mangapai, from Purvis Road to a point 2.0 kilometres towards Mangapai.
The roads are to be closed between 9:30am and 5:00pm.

Emergency services may use the closed road, and residents may use the closed road by arrangement with the organiser: Northland Car Club Inc, phone +64 9 432 2133.

This notice has been given pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974.
