We are doing some inspection work on the Te Matau a Pohe bridge on Friday night (9 December) from 7pm to 6am Saturday.
This work includes routine internal inspection of the lifting bridge beams.
The bridge will be closed to boats over 6.5m height during these times.
We recommend that skippers intending on using their boats on Friday night, plan to leave before or after these times and book an opening time with Bridge Control.
