Description of Application:
Zodiac Holdings Limited propose to construct and operate a mineral water bottling plant on Lot 1 DP 482474. The application requires consent as a commercial activity exceeding the permitted activity standard for gross floor area and a commercial activity within 100m of a dwelling on a neighbouring property (Rule 38.3.1), providing less parking spaces than the required standard (Rule 38.3.5), traffic movements in excess of the permitted activity standard (Rule 38.3.6) and building coverage in excess of the required standard (38.4.4). Overall the proposal is assessed to be a discretionary activity.
**UPDATE** - The resource consent application by Zodiac Holdings Ltd to establish a water bottling plant at 649 Mangakahia Road, Poroti has been withdrawn. Included in the 'Application' folder below is the letter of withdrawal from the applicant.
Please note that Council holds no further information than contained in the letter from Zodiac Holdings Ltd as to the future development proposals for the site.

and include the following information:
- your name, postal address, telephone number and fax number
- details of the application in respect of which you are
making the submission
- whether you support or oppose or are neutral about the
- your submission, and the reasons for it
- the decision you wish the consent authority to make
- whether you wish to be heard in support of your submission.
A copy of your submission must also be served as soon as
reasonably practicable on the applicant whose address for
service is given above.
