The Shop Trading Hours Act 1990 allows Local Authorities to adopt a policy that permits additional types of trading on Easter Sundays.
Council is proposing an Easter Sunday Shop Trading Policy, to be in place for Easter Sunday 2019.
Council adopted a Statement of Proposal on this matter on 25 October 2018.

The Statement of Proposal includes detailed information on how interested parties can present their views to Council; in person and via a written submission, or both.

Feedback may be provided between 9:00am Wednesday 31 October and 5:00pm Wednesday 28 November 2018. All written submissions will be acknowledged.
Individuals or organisations who wish to present their views on the proposal to Council in person may do so on 12 December 2018.
