Description of Application:

The application involves a subdivision consent to relocate the boundaries of two existing titles, and land use consent for an exceedance in site coverage resulting from existing buildings on the two titles.  The site is located within the Urban Transition Environment.  The proposal is unable to comply with Rule UTE.3.1 (subdivision), Rule UTE.2.1.b (cumulative building footprint) and Rule 47.2.11 (access).  Overall, the proposal is a Discretionary Activity. 

Making a Submission

Submission forms are available from Whangarei District Council's Customer Services counters Whangarei District Council's Service Centre, Forum North, Rust Avenue, Whangarei; Ruakaka Service Centre, Takutai Place, Ruakaka, or under the 'Resources' area to the right of this page.

The submission must be dated, signed by you (unless emailed), and include the following information:

  1. your name, postal address, telephone number and fax number (if applicable)
  2. details of the application in respect of which you are making the submission
  3. whether you support or oppose or are neutral about the application (optional)
  4. your submission, and the reasons for it
  5. the decision you wish the consent authority to make
  6. whether you wish to be heard in support of your submission.

A copy of your submission must also be served as soon as reasonably practicable on the applicant whose address for service is given above.

This notice is given pursuant to Section 95A of the Resource Management Act 1991.
