Description of Application:

The proposal is to subdivide Lot 2 DP 469748 and Lot 301 DP 491658 to create 13 lots over two stages:

- Stage 1 comprises Lots 1, 6, 9-11, 100 (Road to Vest) and 800 (balance).
- Stage 2 comprises Lots 2-5, 7-8, 12-13 and 100 (Road to Vest).

The 11 smaller lots range in size from 2320m² and 5467m² (Note: Lots 5 and 13 are to be held together) while the 2 larger lots are 1.1528ha and 1.2577ha respectively. The Road to Vest (Lot 100) extends the existing legal road – Heartstone Place.

Making a Submission

Anyone may make a submission. Simply mail a written submission to Whangarei District Council, Private Bag 9023, Whangarei 0148 (Fax: 09 438 7632) or email it to mailroom@wdc.govt.nz by .

Submission forms are available from Whangarei District Council's Customer Services counters Whangarei District Council's Service Centre, Forum North, Rust Avenue, Whangarei; Ruakaka Service Centre, Takutai Place, Ruakaka, or under the 'Resources' area to the right of this page.

The submission must be dated, signed by you (unless emailed), and include the following information:

  1. your name, postal address, telephone number and fax number (if applicable)
  2. details of the application in respect of which you are making the submission
  3. whether you support or oppose or are neutral about the application (optional)
  4. your submission, and the reasons for it
  5. the decision you wish the consent authority to make
  6. whether you wish to be heard in support of your submission.

A copy of your submission must also be served as soon as reasonably practicable on the applicant whose address for service is given above.

This notice is given pursuant to Section 95A of the Resource Management Act 1991.
