Construction work is programmed to start on 29 September, and continue through to February 2015.

The construction work will take place in front of the existing waterfall and in the garden immediately to the east of the waterfall.

The work will include earthworks, concrete walls and paving and landscaping and will require heavy machinery working within the park.

Part of Laurie Hall Park (within the immediate works area) will be closed to public access for the duration of the construction works.

Pedestrian access through the park will be available via diversion routes. Construction traffic within the Laurie Hall car park will be managed so that disruption to normal traffic is minimised.
