Laurie Hall Park upgrade

This page contains information about the upgrade at Laurie Hall Park from 7 January until 13 April 2019.
Updated: 8/01/2019 2:46 p.m.

Laurie Hall Park has been through major improvements and development over the past few years and these are set to continue into the new year.

This year’s work will be on the area above the war memorial that was completed in time for the WW1 Centenary commemorations in 2014.

It will begin on Monday 7 January and be completed by Saturday 13 April so the site can be made ready for 2019 ANZAC Day commemorations.

The $500,000 job by Robinson’s Asphalt will include new lighting, footpaths and concrete stairs, and new lawns and planting.

Temporary paths will be organised for the times when the old footpaths are removed and replaced.
