This page contains information about Fat Freddy's Drop kicking off the 2019 Endless Summer Festival in January 2019.
Updated: 16/11/2018 10:52 a.m.

Northland Events Centre (previously Toll Stadium) will be hosting Fat Freddy's Drop as part of their New Zealand summer roady on Thursday 3 January 2019. They will be joined by special guests The Black Seeds, DJ legend Norman Jay MBE direct from London and Troy Kingi.

Fat Freddy's Drop are considered one of the best live experiences in the world. Don't miss out! Tickets are on sale from Ticketmaster and Forum North Box Office.

Fat Freddy’s Drop have just released a brand new track 'Trickle Down', which they say is "an electronic-driven reaction to the politics of the day – the false economic principle of wealth trickling down from the 1% to the 99%." As they sing of running out of patience while waiting for the rain to fall, a confident, steady beat propels us forward as a sign of promise.

Recorded at the band’s BAYS studio in their Wellington hometown, the track arose from a series of jams and is a slice of the new album they’re cooking up as a follow-up to their earlier releases; BAYS, Blackbird, Dr Boondigga & The Big BW and record breaking Based on a True Story.
