This page contains information about Keep NZ Beautiful Clean Up Week 2017 this September.
Updated: 30/08/2017 12:00 a.m.

Lots of Whangarei communities are banding together to keep Whangarei beautiful during the official Keep New Zealand Beautiful Clean Up Week 2017, from 11 to 17 September.

Whangarei District Council supports community groups taking part in the clean up by making it easier for groups to dispose of the rubbish they collect.

If you are getting a group together to do a clean up, register it at 'Keep New Zealand Beautiful' (link below) and get in touch with WDC Technical Officer Grant Alsop or someone from the solid waste team who can arrange free rubbish bags or other help.
