There are halls and community facilities throughout the Whangarei district.

All of the community halls are managed by committees of dedicated volunteers who are committed to providing a place for locals to meet and socialise with each other.

We work in partnership with local communities to maintain community halls in the district as valuable facilities for local residents.

A strategy was adopted in 2007 which outlines our role in ensuring their ongoing viability.
