Rent concessions are a non-contestable fund available to support selected not for profit community organisations that provide a valued service to the District and operate from Council owned property.
Organisations that receive rent concessions have their rent obligations to Council reduced or removed.
How much funding is available?
The fund’s quantum for each financial year is determined through Council’s Annual Plan.
Who can apply?
Not for profit organisations operating in Council owned properties are able to apply.
How to apply
Any group/organisation wishing to be considered is expected to already have a strong and positive funding history with Council.
To request consideration of a rent concession, applicants should make a submission to the Annual Plan during the submission period.
